US President Donald Trump is considering a major staff shake-up which may involve some of the highest positions at the White House, a new report has revealed.
The White House’s Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, Chief Strategist Stephen Bannon and Press Secretary Sean Spicer are some of the officials that might be included in the “major reboot,” Axios news website reported Sunday, citing unnamed confidants within the administration.
“He's frustrated, and angry at everyone,” one source said. “The advice he's getting is to go big — that he has nothing to lose," the confidant added. "The question now is how big and how bold. I'm not sure he knows the answer to that yet.”
According to the report, Trump was not satisfied with the way some of his staff had been serving him. The Republican president’s longtime friends and outside advisers have also called on him to change things around.

Apparently, talks of the sweeping changes gain more momentum last week, after Trump fired former FBI chief James Comey, who was overseeing two important probes that shaped the Republican president’s last year victory against his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton.
Before the election, Comey led a controversial probe into Clinton’s use of a personal server to exchange government emails while she was secretary of state.
After the election, he began investigating Trump’s alleged ties to Russia as well as a series of cyber attacks against Clinton’s campaign, which Democrats claimed were conducted by Russian hackers.
The decision has plunged the White House into chaos, with administration officials giving largely contradictory explanations.
While Vice President Mike Pence and others tried to curb speculations that the decision was related to the Russia probe, Trump said Thursday that the “Russia thing” was on his mind when he fired Comey.
It was reported over the weekend that Trump had already considered replacing Spicer with Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle (pictured below).
Bannon’s possible removal would also come as no surprise given that his position had already been weakened over a dispute with Trump’s son-in-law and senior strategist Jared Kushner.
Known as a hardliner nationalist and mocked by critics as the real president because of his influence on Trump, Bannon was removed from his position on the National Security Council’s principals committee in early April.
